CATS - Time sheets approval by Person responsible in WBS element

Hi All,

In the standard sceanario , CAT2 is being executed for time sheet. The HR has maintained the organizational unit wherein the positions are defined. For approval , Workflow is executed for approval of times. This goes to the line manager as defined by HR positions.

However , my client requires that the workflow should go to the Person responsible in WBS as same people work for different projects at different times.

Is there any standard configuration available or user exit if any ?

Any suggestions/solutions will be helpful ?

In customizing you mainly set authorizations and the strategies for time sheet approval. The scenario you have is possible in standard with a user exit I think. The user exit you asked for is mentioned in the customizing link in the help.sap.com page above.
