system automatically not tacking batch numer

Hi

gurus in batch determination when am creating sales order system automatically not piciking the batch number. Even though i maintained conditon records for this in vch1. It is not coming . Where as when am manually entering then system taking it. Where am going wrong please could you help me in this problem

hi,

Did you create the batch for material using T-Code MSC1N? If you create, Then check whether you have activated the automatic determination for item categories ( sales order or Delivery ).
