SNP OPTIMIZER ''CONECTION TEST FAIL" RESULT

dear all,

I am learing SNP OPTIMIZATION on APO 3.1 , after cost profile

completed in ( Master Data SNP),i run SNP optimization but

it is giveing me error " Connection Test Fail" ( It is showing some error in RFC coonection.

I donot have R/3 or SNP Optimization server,can i run SNP

Optimization ?? What are the settings ?? Can you pls help me

out.

Also try to check SM59 to make sure the optimizer server is setup correctly to interact with the APO LC server

Hi,

Check the following :

1> RFC between Optimizer and SCM Application server

2> RFC between Optimizer and SCM Live cache Server.

Goto SM59 .Goto relevant RFC and do a connection test.

If it fails ask your BASIS team to fix it.

if you dont have an SNP optimizer you will not be able to run optimization

do you have a opt server and are just looking to concect it?

or are you looking for settings to set up an optimization server. if so it might be a task for the basis administrators....
