Dear Members
I request your clarification on the following
We create order-> delivery> billing
Copy controls ensure Copy data from order to delivery and delivery to billing
At the item level copy controls from delivery to billing there is no Pricing copying
So I would like to know how pricing is determined in billing?
As such price is being copied from order
Request for clarification
Warm Regards
narasimha
Hi narshimha
Generally in delivery the main objective is how much quantity is getting picked up .so based on that quantity , in billing it determines wheather for how much quantitites it has to be billed . so pricing is done at order level and , billing level . but the main thing is based on the quantity that has been picked (full qty/ partial qty)in delivery , the billing price also takes place.so in delivery the main objective is how much quantity is getting picked and moved from the shipping point but not pricing .
Even if you want to change any price also , you change based on billing or order but not on the basis of the quantity
Pricing takes place in background in delivery but our main objective in delivery is how much quantity is moved from the storage location and shipping point to the customer.
Reward if useful

Srinath

hi
copy control is used by the system to determine what document types, item categories and scheduline categories can be copied into each other or referenced.
copy cotrol:
1.sales document to sales document(VTAA)
2. Billind document to sales document(VTAF)
3. Sales document to delivery document (VTLA)
4. Sales document to billing document (VTFA)
5. delivery documents to billing documents (VTFL)
6. Billing document to Billing document (VTFF)
system will copy the data based COPY REQUIRMENT routines
