Change od Movement type for Project Delivery

Hi Guys..

We are implementing a project and trying to delivery the material through Project System (PS).

Here as per standard delivery movement type comes as 281. Can we change the movement type to suit our requirement. Since we need to do that for our COGS posting issues.

Can anybody suggest any solution tothis??

Hai,

The other way... can be

You directly pick material from Project stock from VL01N. you can do this by setting...Special stock as Q in Requirement class for the startergy group in VL01N.

This will also directly update your sale order value.However whatever u delivery should have as line item of Sale Order.

Disadvantage with CNSO is there no direct link for Project delivery document type LP and Sale order value. Though you deliver from project and raise invoice for the delivery to customer, the sale order value is not updated. I mean it will still allow you raise further invoices...which is bug.

Please discuss this with your SD co-part.

I will check and come back if we can change CNSO movement type.

Hi DHA,

Your objectives behing customizing movement type is not clear.

Movement type customization is a very involved one with strong integration issues related to FI and requirement transfers in logistics (SD /PP) and not a recommended course of action, especially since it may not really solve the problem at hand.
