Hi,
I have a use case where the customer wants to see individual tool tips based on the data in the Nodelelements. I dont know if this is possible at all. Say I have several insurnce plans to be displayed as row
1. Basic Life
2. Accidental Life
3. Supplemental life.
These are data values of attribute insurance of a value node. Now how to have tool tips such that "Basic Life " it shows description of Basic life, accidnetal it shows its description etc.
Please help.
Regards,
Arun
What exactly is the problem?

Hello arun,
I don't think that you cannot set ToolTip property to the node elements; but its only available to the UI element to which the context element is bind with. So if you want to set the property dynamically in IWDModifyView method you can get the UI element and set that property.
IWDLabel label_basic = (IWDLabel)view.getElement( "Label_BasicType");
label_basic.setToolTipText( wdContext.currentContextElement().getBasictypeElement());
IWDLabel label_accident = (IWDLabel)view.getElement( "Label_AccidentType");
label_accident.setToolTipText( wdContext.currentContextElement().getAccdenttypeElement());
IWDLabel label_suplement = (IWDLabel)view.getElement( "Label_SuplementType");
label_suplement.setToolTipText( wdContext.currentContextElement().getSuplementtypeElement());
OR you can set the property directly to the UI element, say tooltip property with a string value

you bind the insurance attribute as tooltip too. That will set current data values as tooltip.

Hi,
Bind the Tooltip property to the attribute insurance of a value node , then the for Basic Life it shows description of Basic life only , since both the fields are binded to the same attribute.
