Can anybody please tell me what is the use of net price condition type and in which context do we use it

Hi hari

net price condition type is PN00. It has Alt calc type as 6

It is a manual condition type which we specify at item level.

when you enter this condition type PN00 at item level , automatically all preceeding condition types gets inactive.

you use this PN00 condition type

generally if you want to see only item value ,i.e., material name, quantity, price of the material and the net price. in the out put , you can use this condition type PN00.

Hi Hari,

assuming if you have not maintained condition master data for one of the sales order line item, then we can go into item > conditions and enter PN00 value for it since this is set as a manual condition type. In this its preferable we maintain PR00 as cannot be processed manually. So when you do a sales it goes on incompletion log first for missing net value, so the master data team can take a note of it. Later they may maintain a list price for it going to VK11. Temporarily we can PN00.

Another situtation is after net price there would not be any furher discounts applicable. So thats the final price to the customer. The discounts are applicable only on a list price not on net price.
