delivery/invoiceTime and date

Friends,

We have a scenario, where availibility check is done for goods procured in china and shipped to the US. We have a China sales org and the delivery dates are determined for goods to be delivered and shipped to the US (Shipt to address..US)

Now my question is; what date and time will the system pick on the deliveries and invoices, I mean would it be the US date or the china date.

e.g. we have a delivery date as 15/Apr/2008, so would this be the US date or the china date, since we have 16 hrs difference between the two countries.

Mind it we are planning to have one SAP client all across.

Appreciate you response.

Cheers!!!

Dear Anupam

Delivery date is nothing but the date on which you are despatching the goods. This means, in your case, the delivery date (15/4/08) is the date on which you will be effecting despatch from China plant.

thanks
