Hi,
I have DEV and QTY Servers And i have 2 seperate SLD's. i need to do BS Export.
In Which Server we have to create Transport Groups and Transport Targets????

Bopanna
Hi,
When using an SLD, to be able to represent and control all the parts of your system landscape that are applied in different ways, you need to define Groups of business systems and Transport Targets.
You need to create it for DEV as well as Qulaity also.
Refer

Thanks

Hi Swarup,
okay, i can accept with you.
I refferd this help file also.
here while creating the Transport groups in DEV Server SLD we have to select the IS for corresponding BS.This is fine for DEV Server IS but how can i select the IS of QTY Server in DEV SLD??
We are using 2 seperate SLD's
Reffer this point from the help file which u provided
Defining Groups of Business Systems
Define groups of business systems for different areas of use (for example, testing and production) and assign an Integration Server to each group.

Heloo Guys.,
Too much confusion with this groups and targets creation
If any one who is having the correct doc please provide the same.
One is saying that we have to create all these groups and targets creation purely in QTY server only not in DEV server.
Some one is saying we have to create at both sides.
No clarification

Hi Bopanna,
i don't think still there is much to confuse...
If you have carefull read the link that I have given...it is mentioned that
You need to define Groups on both sides..refer to the screen shot given in that document. You need to assign Integration Server corresponding to as for DEV and Qty.You should not select the IS of QTY in DEV...
As you have two seperate SLDs so these groups will be specific to DEV and QTY.
For this purpose, assign the test systems to the group Test and the productive systems to the group Productive. The mapping of the names to the business systems that correspond to each other is defined by using transport targets.
hope this will be clear to you...
Thanks
Swarup
Hi Swarup,
I uderstood now.
Goto DEV Server---SLD
we have to create Transport group SAP_DEv for DEV Server's SLD. and select the IS of DEV Server
we have to create Transport group SAP_QTY for QTY Server's SLD.and select the IS of QTY Server.
Upto now ok
Then what abt the Transport Targets
These also we have to Assign the Transport group created in DEV to DEV and QTY to QTY??
Can you through some light on creation of Targets
