In SP05 enhancement security is available like user restriction, repository level security password while mounting and unmounting repository uploading of speed for clfmas and matmas data qulified table validation automatic workflow triggered with assignment like default value for particuler field enhance search facility and Improved MDM Console Security.

�� Perform data modeling maintenance

I can recommend you familiarize yourself with SAP MDM 5.5 SP05 Release Notes, which contain information about improvements in SP05 as compared to SP04.
