thanks all gurus for the perfect answers.
I have a doubt..i have 900 customers...i want to mark them to be deleted...someone said it had to be marked for deletion....is there a way to mark them all at a time or i should go one by one???? please guide me

You want one by one customers deletion marked use T-Code - XD06 or all customers deletion marked use T-code XD99, selete the table - KNA1 & go to field select the field Name - KNA1-LOEVM (Deletion flag (KNA1)

use tcode XD 06 to mark customer for delition
ELSE to mark all for deletion follow the process
go to mass
select object as KNA1
go to fields
select Deletion flag (KNA1- (KNA1-LOEVM)
execute
give all customers
Execute
here u can flag all customer for deletion

Try XD99 else BAPI or then MASS. If nothing works.....
