doubt on BED

Hi Gurus,

I have doubt abt the Calculation of BED in the pricing procedure.

Ex:

ZZZZ Basic price 1000.00

yyyy discount 1% 100.00

Base value 900.00

Muy doubt is where we calculate the BED? on Base value 900.00 or Basic price 1000.00.

Hi,

Geenrally BED is calculated on Base price and discounts will be given afterwards.

Hi;

For excise duty calculations one Excise term used like Assessible value this is the value on which we need to pay excise duty.

First you decide this assessible value after discussions with cliant that how they calculate it.

Normally assecible value is vlaue after discount. But in MRP sort of prices the excise paid on before discount.

But for this you need to maintain assecible value condition type.

I think this will serve the purpose.
