Hello,

In my company we have a requirement like, when we enter a line item with item catgory XXXX in sales order, then system should automatically generate two line items, one with item category YYY and other with item category ZZZ. How to do this?

hi,

you create a BOM. For example you enter material A and want B , C with diff item cat say in sales order type OR, do it like this.

A - item cat group XXXX1

B- item cat group YYY1

C- item cat group ZZZ1

Now at VOV4 - item cat determination

OR + XXX1 - > XXXX (item cat)

OR + YYY1+ usage (Blank) + XXXX(Higher level item cat) - > YYYY

OR + ZZZ1+ usage (Blank) + XXXX(Higher level item cat)- > ZZZZ
