why do we install Java during SAP installation?

Hello Satish,

Sapinst tool requires JRE for the running and as JRE cannot be integrated to sapinst due to licensing issues we need to install seprately java before sap installation.

SAPinst has a GUI, SAPinst GUI, which allows you to monitor the progress of the installation and see all messages issued by SAPinst. Because the SAPinst GUI isJava-based, you need Java Runtime Environment (JRE).

SAPinst tool is the which is going to install SAP in your OS, So for proper run of inst tool u need to install java as it is programmed in java to reach platform independence.
