Hi all
How to find out whether there exists a product life cycle plan-based Demand projection for a CVC? Will it be reflected in the DP plan?
Thanks in advance.
You can try using Like Profiles in Life Cycle Planning that represents a PLC. There are macros that can also mimic a Phase-In and Phase-Outs (see the standard SAP help on Macros with Phase-in and phase out).

The other thing that you can train your planners to do is to use Distribution Function in the data view (calculator button) with which you can define custom distribution definitions. It is possible to kind of do a ramp-up, growth, saturation or ramp-down functions with custom distribution definition. The weighting profiles in Like Profiles also offer you the ability.

No but you can check the forecast profile if the life cycle planning indicator is active and MSDP_FCST1 if there is any existing assignment for that material. The demand plan doesn't say anything about the PLC for a particular CVC.
