Hello All,
I know that this topic is discussed very extensively on the forum. However, I am trying to create JCo destinations to an SAP R/3 release 4.6C system, on which there has been no basis configuration done, since its not in use in our company.
So I am not sure if the problem I am facing is related to this or something else.
The SLD connecton is successful.
I have made the entries for
sapms<SID> 36<sysNo>/tcp and
sapgw<sysNo> 33<sysNo> in the services file
But when I test the JCos I get the error:
Connect to SAP gateway failed Connect_PM partner '172.16.10.2:3310' not reached
Ping to JCos fail as well. (But ping from cmd to the host works.)
I checked the SMGW transaction on the R/3 system and found that it contains no data.
What could be the problem?
Thanks and Regards,
Reena

Hi,
From your post its looking like that the node which you are trying to access is may be out of network.
Reason is its showing partner not reached, connection broken.
So pls make it check with your Network Admin.
