Search the material with description

Hi All

My client has more than 3lakhs material he wants to search the material with the description then he wants to take that material.

because it is manufacaturing company.for that it has the diameters

Dear satish babu

Go to MM03, press F4 so that it will take you to a screen where you have to choose "Material by material group" tab. In this tab, you can see a field "Material Description". Give the required description so that for whatever material code that description is maintained, those items will be displayed. Of course, in some other tabs also, this field (Material Description) will be there. You can select that also and take the pick the required material.

Hi,

If u want to get the list of marerials for a particular description then go to se16 and give table name as MARA then there give description field as search criteria then execute. U will get list of materials...

If not please let us know ..
