Distributed installation of WAS (on multiple hosts)

Hi all,

i am trying to install WAS 6.40 in distributes style,

I have installed Central Instance preparation on one machine, and it was done successfully

when i am trying to install Java Database Installation on other machine it is giving me error like

need the label MAXDB::RDBMS:MAX DB:

or No DVD found with this label MAXDB::RDBMS:MAX DB:

i have downloaded few zip files from services.sap.com

mentioned in this thread

but still no .ASC file contains this label

what to do??

any help would be highly appreciated

Hi,

You have to download the Developer Work Place from service.sap.com. There you get the MAXDB Installation files.

On service.sap.com goto

Support Packages and Patches->SAP NetWeaver->SAP NETWEAVER->SAP NETWEAVER 04->Entry by Component->SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio->SAP NW DEVELOPER STUDIO 2.0.
