An error occurred when transferring characteristics combinations

Hello Gurus,

When trying to execute transaction /SAPAPO/ATPQ_PAREA_K, error message "An error occurred when transferring characteristics combinations". We have run consistency check on planning area but no inconsistecies were found.

Kindly help on what report can be used to rectify the error. Any advise is welcome.

It could be that your lock table size is too small for your number of CVC's, have a look at the attached SAP Note and see if this makes a difference:

Thanks for the reply. We are using SCM 5.0. What transation can I used to check this parameter?

Also, the transaction is working on test mode but when you uncheck the test mode, the error occurs.

Check the following note out for details of how to check and setup the tablesize. I think there may be some issue with the setup of your sizing as there is no problem with the test mode:
