Did you mean:

PR is created instead of PO.

Hi SRM gurus

We are on SRM 4.0 (SP11) and using classic scenario.

User is creating SC using Catalog item which in turn has been assigned to a valid contract, system instead of creating a PO it is creating PR. This was working fine before, only from last week we are facing this issue.

I have checked:

SPRO settings for "Define objects in backbend" which is:

Always ext. procument, PO if item data complete otherwise PR.

Contract is valid.

Please let me how to resolve this issue.

with regards

Manjuanth

Hello Manju,

Apply SAP Note 140846 - BBP: No purchase order generated although data complete.

This should resolve the issue.

Thanks

Hello,

Please check SAP Note No. 787045.

Also, please check::

Define Objects in Backend System (Purch. Reqs, ..., that the following

is not the case:

The documentation of this customizing issue says that you can

use the "*" if you do not want to specify a purchasing group or a

product category. But this only works well if you set the "*" for

EITHER the purchasing group OR the product category. If you use

the "*" for the purchasing group AND the product category, then a purchase requisition will be created.

Thanks and regards,

Gaurav

Is the source list (me01) also valid?

For the subject SC is SRM finding more than one SOS (contracts, info records, vendor)?

ECC config for "contract" doc type -> linked PR type

ECC config PO doc type -> external no range ... changed accidently
