G'Morning All
Last night I received a notification of a partially damaged objects on BW DEV and BW PRD systems.
When I investigated in SYSTABLES and SYSINDEXES I am unable to find the damaged objects.
I need to establish what these damaged objects are so that I can fix them.
Anette
Hi Anette,
how did you get to know about the damages? Messages in the QSYSOPR message queue or something else? Anything that is coming from the operating system will tell you the "short names" (maximum 10 characters, enclosed in quotes ("") when using special characters). You can use DSPFD for those short names to find out the "Alternative file name" (or SQL name).
If you cannot find the object names in any messages, then you can use STRSST and log for Licensed Internal Code log entries with a major code of 0300 ("damage set") to find out more inforation about the damages. It may require help from the IBM support to read and interpret those entries though.
Kind regards,
Christian Bartels.
