Importance of Material Orgin field in Costing-2 view

Dear Friends

I wanted to know the relevance of Field--- Material Orgin in Costing-1

view.

as we are planning to start standard costing & change our price control

from V to S,so please update me the importance & also in costing -1 view we have field Origin Group

Whats the importance of this field.

Hi

- checking the 'Material Origin' in material master will help analyzing the cost of the material in std cost estimate.

- 'Origin Group' is used for calculation of Overhead rates which is purely falls under CO consultant activity.

Stadard price & Moving Avg Price do not have a role play with these 2 parameters in detail as Std price needs to get std price from std cost estimate & Moving Avg Price is obtained based on moving Avg price of GR of different POs.
