Hi,

The Idoc and the HTTP adapters are in the ABAP stack of integration server and not the adapter engine that is reason they are not displayed in the component monitoring.

Hi Raja

there are two stacks in SAP XI

ABAP and JAVA

All the adpters reside on JAVA stack except the two IDOC and HTTP.

Since these two adapters reside on ABAP stack so these can connect to integration sercver directly so there is no need to configure sender channel and agrement

That's why you are not able to monitor these two adapter from RWB (RWB runs on java stack)

Hope this may solve ur query

Thanks

Sandeep

hai

HTTP and IDOC adapters are based on abap stack ,so they are part of the integration engine, not part of adapter engine which is based on the java stack.

so for monitoring purpose you ca use t.code:idx5

for monitoring messages on I.E use t.code:sxmb_moni

reward points if found helpfull

Hi Raja,

IDOC and HTTP adapters are not Java resource adapters and that is why you dont see them in RWB.

Hi,

In RWB Adapter engineCC monitoring we able to view only the adapters which are running on JAVA Stack.

These two IDOC and HTTP are on ABAP Stack so thats why you are not able to view those

If you want to view the list of adapters those which are currently installed means check this path

goto IR--select SAP BASIS component-select http://sap.com/xi/XI/System---Adapter Object

Here you can view all the adapters

Hi,

IDOC and HTTP server is lying on IS(ABAP Stack) not on AE hence u will not see these two adapters in AE list.

Also u do not require to configure the sender agreement and sender communication channel for IDOC in Configuration.
