Hi can you pls help on the following :

Versioning capability to detect and compare changes across versions of the metadata ( fields , mappings , attributes)?

As far as i know the versioning is at the record level only .

Workflow capabilities to manage changes and approvals ( can a workflow be setup to approve/reject the field in a table ?)

Support for full Unicode/UTF-8

Support for import/export of metadata

Hi Amit,

As far as metadata is concerned, You can export and import the entire repository schema from the MDM Console.Just right click on the repository and click on Export Repository Schema or Import Repository Schema whatever you want to do.Output will be in Schema Migration File(xml).

- As far as i know there is no capability to compare versioning changes of meta data.

We can however compare changes between field and table types between two repositories by exporting a schema from one repository and importing it on another repository.

Workflow capabilities to manage changes and approvals ( can a workflow be setup to approve/reject the field in a table ?)

- No.

Workflow approvals and rejection works only on record levels not on meta data level.

Support for import/export of metadata

- No

We can only import and export data ie records in table and lookup tables.We do not have facility to import and export fields and tables.
