Create Inbound Delivery in Reference to an Outbound Delivery

Hi, does anybody know if it is possible to create an inbound delivery in reference to an outbound delivery?

Hi,

You can create an inbound delivery when you are creating an outbound delivery. But I am not sure whether you can create inbound delivery with reference to an outbound delivery with proper coyp controls. There is no copy control between delivery to delivery document. Also inbound delivery falls under MM domain.

If you have a custom program to fetch some details from o utbound delivery and feed them into inbound delivery in certain fields, then it is definitely possible either through outputs like SPED, or through IDOCs(either through output type or through change pointers) or even through some background job.

There's an output type, SPED that you can create from your outbound delivery that will automatically create an inbound delivery, complete with batch and handling unit information.
