IDES R/3 4.6C SR2 DB2 windows

I'm installing IDES R/3 4.6C SR2 with DB2 V8.1.15 on windows 2003.

I install DB2.

I follow installation guide IDES mySAP.com for R/3 4.6C SP 28 and note 519697 (I use IDES_R3_46C_DB2-UDB.SAR from this note).

They say that I must use kernel from the same DVD that have export but these kernel is not for DB2, than I use the kernel CD that came in package.

When I try to install central and database instance I get this error:

CENTRDB from note is corrupt.

Use original and change step of location of kernel and export

The relevant line is not shown - you entered three times "something" and that is failing.

Please check further above for the error and post.

I'm not sure but I think that .R3S file is not complete/corrupt. It expects a value which is not there and there's no input for that.

I suggest you open a call under BC-INS providing the note number and what you have done so far. DB2 was not initially released for IDES 4.6c (as you can see in that note) and someone created that installation and I think only that person will be able to help you.

Since 4.6c is out of maintenance you might be out of luck if you have no extended maintenance contract for that version.

For this value I put <SID><Hostname>, that is R3Ssapsrv01

Than I get this error.

I can just guess here...

Check note 101212, that note is not for 4.6c but section 3 mentions some problems. Can you check that?

I read note 101212 and put environment variables DB2INSTANCE and DB2DB6EKEY but i get the same error.
