posting only possible in period 2005/01 and 2004/12 in company code 1000

Dear sir,

when i am useing t.code MIGO i got a ticket " posting only possible in period 2005/01 and 2004/12 in company code 1000"

so please give me a bucket for this ticket as soon as possible.

I'm trying to do MIGO But I'm getting message "posting only possible in the period 2006/05 & 2006/04 in company code 1000". Pl help to rectify this problem

Hi

First check the Current period and Previous period in t-code MMRV.

After that go to T-code MMPV and close the period.

For example - in T-code MMRV

Current Period - 03 2008

Previous Period - 02 2008

and if u want to post documents in the current period ie 04 2008, then u should close 03 2008.

For this go to T-Code MMPV and enter the 04 in the Period and 2008 in the Year and select the option Check and Close the Period

Like this u have to close all the periods till your current period in MMRV becomes 01 2005.

Hope this will help you to close the ticket

Tcode:MMPV

enter From 1000 leave to blank

start closing the periods from 01/2005, execute

next02/2005 to till month(04/2008)

Easiest way:

1.delete all the plant assignments to the company code 1000

save and exit

2.Tcode omsy change posting periods for 1000 from 01/2005 to 04/2008 save and exit

3.reassign all the plants to the company code 1000.save and exit

4.tcode OMWD assign valuation area 0001 to all the plants.
