Is it possible to go from SP6 back to SP5?

Hello Mike,

Yes, you can go back with the previous version.

Just take archives of all repository, uninstall all GUI Client and then uninstall the MDM servers.

After this just install the MDM Server with the version which you want to use and install all GUI Client but remember one thing all GUI client must be compatible with your MDM Server version.

And unarchive the repositories which you want, use Update Repository option to update your repository schema with the server version.

Are you wanting to downgrade due to issues with stability with sp5.5.6.2? We just installed the new version and are having stability issues?
