Hi,
We are trying to test live cache backup in SCM 5.0. We took a backup of data and then made changes to the data and then crash the data trying to simulate a disaster. After restore, if the data is same as the data before changes, our live cache backup is successful. But after we are always seeing the changes after restore.
Am I doing a mistake here?
If I have to take a backup of my data, should I take a backup of Live cache or the underlying Oracle database?
I would appreciate if you can refer to me to any documentation on backup procedure.
Thanks.
Again - check

and check the best practices document how to backup and restore a livecache instance.
