Hi
Im facing a different kind of problem,
Im trying to check-in my DIR from CAD Desktop but in a particular document status only im not able to check in my Original file into the content server. but in other status i can check-in the original file.
For Eg,
My doc status network is like,
WR -> IW -> IR -> PR -> RE
Here im not able to check in DIR only in "IW" Status.
If my DIR is in "IW" status im not able to check-in my original from CAD Desktop. I can do check-out.
Points will be awarded....

MRK
I am not sure if this helps... But are you using authoriation object C_DRAW_TCS?
The activity descriptions aren't very good...
01 Create or generate
02 Change
03 Display
06 Delete
49 Request
52 Change application start
53 Display application start
56 Display archive
57 Save archive
59 Distribute
But if you are using, make sure the authorization has 49, 52, 53 included.

Hi MRK,
is there any error message raised? Is there something special for status 'IW'?
Best regards,
Christoph

Hi,
Nothing is special in "IW" (Inwork) status.
If I use AutoCAD integration and try to check in from CAD desktop in this document status
im getting this error msg
this msg is shown by AutoCAD integration
RFC_SYS_EXCEPTION
SAP RFC error
Operation: CAD_GET_TITLE_BLOCK_DATA
Group : 104
Key : RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
Message : Wrong status
CDESK_SHOW (RFC_CLOSED): Connection closed by the other side!
If I use PRO/E integration and try to check in from CAD desktop in the document status.
Im getting this error msg.
this msg is shown by Pro/E integration
BROKEN_CONNECTION_TO_SAP.
For your kind information, these funcitonalities were all working previously.
Only CAD integration is showing this error.
But I can do Check-in from DIR screen even in "IW" status.
And shows an Icon in CAD deskop which has a meaning
Concurrent situation:Check In/Check Out is possible, but the system overwrites the changes made by the
concurrent user.

MRK
