Hi all gurus i m getting Error in executing scripts..whn i m installing sap 4.7 ides..can anybody help me toresolve it..Its urgent...thx.

What script are you executing? Please provide the installation with the relevant part containing the error.

If you copy CDs locally, don't use blanks in the paths.

Rename the path "D:\SAPinst ORACLE KERNEL" to

D:\SAPINST_ORACLE_KERNEL

and try again.

Hi,

do the fresh installation without giving any space in path.

i.e D:\SAPinst ORACLE KERNEL should be D:\SAPinst_ORACLE_KERNEL

You have to start from scratch because the path with the blanks is already in the configuration.

I have to Start frm scratch means i have to start my installation from starting point like frash installation and path without space..is it like tht..reply me fast.

yes perform fresh installation ( starting from scratch) without any space.

forget all the stuff regarding spaces in the directory path.

the right solution for this is:

edit oradbusr.sql and delete the line starting with

WHENEVER OSERROR ....
