Importance of Material Orgin field in Costing-2 view

I wanted to know the relevance of Field--- Material Orgin in Costing-1

view.

as we are planning to start standard costing & change our price control

from V to S,so please update me the importance.

Material-related origin

If this indicator is set, the material number will be written to the cost element itemization in the Controlling module.

Use

If you set this indicator, the costs incurred will be updated

under a primary cost element with reference to the material number

This enables you to analyze material costs in the information system in more detail.
