Blocking the delivery

HI All,

In my scenario the order is having many schedule lines with different delivery dates. i want to block the delivery of those schedule line who's delivery date is over or crossed. If possible with grace period of 2/3 days.

You can try with

a) User exits in the program MV45AFZZ - USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP

or

b) User-Exits in program MV45AFZB - USEREXIT_CHECK_VBEP

Where u would suggest to have user exit ie at sales doc level or at delivery level.

Secondly user exit is only the option or any other way to control it?

The user exits what I had suggested is appliable at sale order level. Of course, you can also control at Delivery level but you can try with V50S0001 or V50PSTAT. Take the help of ABABer.

To the best of my knowledge, to address your requirement, the only option is user exits. Of course, if there is any other way other than user exit, let us wait and see what other friends are suggesting so that I can also learn from that input.
