sap bw data loading

Hi Gurus,

I need your help on data loading about how to create alert messages(to mobiles/mail ids) about the data loading sucessful or unseccessful.Means after getting finished loading we need to get alert message in our mobile.

Could you please help out in this case.

Hi

you can use PROCESS CHAINS to load the data in BW infoproviders and to the Planning area and with the process chain you can trigger mails/sms to the users about the status.

In SM36, when you define your batch job, there is a button called Spool List Recipients. you can specify email addresses where you can send the mail of job success or failure. most mobile service providers provide an email ID that one can SMS to. This will avoid any complicated setups and is simple to use.
