System status in ECM

Hi,

I am not familiar in ECM . In ECM , while setting the system status which order to be followed

case1:

Check Request

Request Checked

Approve Request

Convert Request

Close Order

Release Order

if i follow this , i am not able to release the change requset.

case2:

Check Request

Request Checked

Approve Request

Convert Request

Close Order

Order Incomplete

Order Complete

Release Order

if i follow this , i am able to release the change requset.

can any one help me, which case i have to follow in ecm.

Hi,

Based on my past experience, I can say that the steps should be

Check Request

Request Checked

Approve Request

Convert Request

Close Order

Order Complete( When all the changes to the objects are carried out)

Release Order(The green tick automatically moves to this step if all the changes to the objects are done)

After the close order , i am not able to select order complete. Eventhough i didn't attach any object to change number.

Can u give me overall detail

If there are no objects attached, you should be able to carry out these steps.You don't have to set the status to"order complete".

Check ECR

ECR checked

Approve ECR

Convert ECR

Close ECO

Release ECO

After close order, the system status will be CHKD ECRA ECCF ECCM CCFO.
