Missing Vendors in SRM550

Hi we have transferred vendors all ok in the past but something strange has happened.

I can see the vendors in the GUI version in transaction BP i can search anf find them no bother, they are also present in table VENMAP, but when in SRM via internet explorer and a search ios carried out they cannot be seen.

Any ideas guys and gals???

Can you see yr downloaded vendors in TXN PPOSV_BBP also in SRM?

here they should be assigned to the org unit you gave in BBPGETVD under a batch unit.

Also, try to find in SAP GUI TXN BBPMAININT to check whether yr ITS GUI are giving correct output

I went to TCODE, PPOSV_BBP but i cannot see the vendors in this transaction, how do i get them there?

Also a vendor that was created yesterday is in this table, but there are 5 vendors created 31st March that are not there,

All vendors have the same P Org.

Plot thickens

in the tcode BBPGETVD what is the object id used for and where is this set against the vendor?

Hi Steve,

In BBPGETVD, at the bottom of the page , you have to fill the org unit ID where your replicated vendor will be attached.

This org unit id is to be created once in ppocv_bbp.

You can call it vendor root.

Once this root created (example : 50000001), fill in into the objectID of the BBPGETVD.

Check the application logs in SRM

in TXN SLG1

External ID =Application log: Vendor replication

for the vendor replication dates

Nothing in the log,

Like i said the vendors are ther in BP and in BUT000, VENMAP but i cannot see them on PPOSV_BBP can these vendors be delted from SRM and re sent via ERP?

Hi,

There is report BUPA_TEST_DELETE;

However, be very careful as it is a report to delete business partner without any restriction of their role !!!!!

Please restrict the trigger of the report to vendor business partnersID only, else you will delete others BP such as orgID, employees...

Hi,

Please check the following cases :

1- Blocked vendors are not shown in search help.

2- Vendors are attached to purchasing organization.

Is your user attached to the same Porg than the vendors ?
