problem in activating change lists

Hi Guru's

here i am trying to activate the objects in change list. As a part of my R&D i just activated the component version alone from the change list. suddenly it created another change list giving some error. please help me out.

Hi,

Right click on Standard change list and say Activate

As said by Seshagiri try to activate the standard change list at once.

What error are u exaclty getting when you were trying to activate?

Please give us that error so that its easier for the experts to answer.

If u have imported ur software comp version from SLD ,and then facing any problem like

item in another change list

try to check the commchannels with all paramters and activate it again.

or as said by experts reject the changes and reimport again.

plz keep the thread updated.

1. try activating the whole change list. right click on the change list you want to activate; once you activate all objects, if you need you can delete the change list.

2. There might be some dependencies in the change list ( that is, deleting Message Interface that is used in mapping). So delete all objects associated with those you have in change list, then activate the change list.

3. still there is problem, try reject change for those showing errors (particularly for fault data types)
