Hi,
I have started ldap connector on my windows server. However when I log off, this ldap connector is stopping.
I know it is possible to start the ldap conenctor as a Windows service. But not sure how to do this.
Any clues?
Thanks in advance,
Abdul

Thanks for this.
What I am looking for is the process to configure the connector process to run as a windows service. I should be able to see the service in Start -> run -> services.msc. This lists all the windows services running in the system.
By the way, do you know how to install a new service in windows?
Regards,
Abdul

ldap_rfc as windows service
Long Text
Hi,
We are running ldap_rfc on the apps servers of our Sol Man system (SMP)
to run LDAPConnector.
Following are the connect strings:
d:\usr\sap\SMP\D01\exe ldap_rfc u2013a LDAP_RFC u2013x sapgw01 u2013g sfrncorssm41
We are successful in replication all directory users onto SAP user
management.
When we are trying to run this LDAP_RFC into a windows service using
sc install "ldap.bat -log none" -b c:\ldap.bat -p service
(the ldap.bat file containing - ldap_rfc u2013a LDAP_RFC u2013x sapgw01 u2013g
sfrncorssm41), we are getting the below error:
u201Csc install u2013 unrecognized commandu201D
Please advise.
Thanks in advance,
Abdul
