ECM workflow

Hi experts,

We are planning to implement ECM workflow for DMS documents. I reckon the workflow steps will be as below.

1. Change request created in CC01 with object type activated for Documents and in the object types documents which are about to be changed are defined.

2. This will trigger a workflow and will send a notification mail to the EC reviewer to approve the change number.

3 After his approval we have to change the ECR to ECO

4. Send notification to the DMS department to change the documents specified in ECR

5. Change the documents specified in ECR and set status of ECO to released.

Hope this is the actual flow of ECM. I am not sure of steps 3,4,5 If anything wrong please correct me. Now in this scenario i want to know how to change the DMS document with reference to ECO so that the ECM workflow will be completed.

Look at the standard workflow number 20000067.

It isn't exactly what you wrote (it has more steps) but it seems to be close enough.
