Hi,

can anyone help me how a meter reading order is created.

i have a doubt whether it is created automatically when a meter reading values are updated from the Meter Reading Device.

Go to the transaction EL31 then press installation push button and give installation number and press billing order then u can create a billing order .

Hi

you can create a meter reading order by tcode EL01 - Individual Order , EL06 - Mass Order

Meter Read Order is created through Transaction EL01 manually but mass meter read orders are also created by system itself.

System creates meter read orders depending on MRU and schedules record of the meter.
