How requirement type is determinied in the sales order.
i know its determine based on item category and mrp type.
what other things play role inthis

it depends on Item Cat + MRP type + Strategy group (material master). Plz check t.code OVZI.

I am sorry I know about that, what other things involve in this.
even if i am specifying configuriaton as follows
ITEM CAT MRP TYPE = REQ TYPE
YTAN -
= YTS
MRP TYPE IS "PD" in the material master data.
Ple tell why system is not determing req type as YTS
