Attachements to Documents

Hi All,

Is it possible to have an external document attached to a Deliver Note or AR Invoice?

We would very much like to attache the Bill of Lading we get from the forwarder to each Invoice.

There are 2 ways you could acheive this.

1. You could create an activity to the document and add the attachment to the that.

2. You could add a user defined field to the Marketing Document - Title, Type will be General and structure will be Link field.

Limitation of Adrians solution is that there may be only one attachment - for more you must create more user fields to marketing documents. But both Adrians solution may be solution for you.

I can actually add several documents to an Activity.

This is only possible to add with SDK programming - create new pane to specific forms and add matrix, create user table where the attachment will be stored (path) and create functionality as delete, update.

With SBO without programming or special addon you wil be not able to achieve it.

That is not possible...unlike something like the Item master for e.g. there is no attchment tab here. You can however achieve the same thru SDK.
