Hi Hari,

All Header Conditions are manual conditions.they should not have access sequence because it is manual condition and needs to enter manually at header level. The header condition is applied to whole document. Header condition may be with Item condition or Group Condition.

Header Condition + Item Condition

if you enter a condition type with these two combinations, then the amount will be distrubuted to all the items in the order.

Ex. There are 10 items in the order. you enter 100 rupees (RB00) at the header level. These 100 rupes will be distrubuted to all the items. it means 10/- to each item.

Header Condition + Group Condition

if you enter a condition type with these two combinations, then the amount will be applied to each item in the order.

Ex. There are 10 items in the order. you enter 100 rupees (HB00) at the header level. These 100 rupes will be applied to each item. it means 100/- to each item. the net value is increased by 1000/-.

Please rewards if it helps you

hi,

purpose of access sequence is to find a particular search critiria . since header condition is applicable for all the line item

we dont require a seach criteria and hence no access sequence.

Hi,

header conditions for example a discount of say 2 % if you want to distribute across all items in the documents we need to enter this value manually at Header > Conditions. In this again we can have a variation where you can collect all such discoutns and give it cummulatively when you also tick them as group condition. So you dont need to maintain a condition record and no access sequence.

Hi,

Header conditions are applicable for hole document. So we have to give the values manually in the Header data screen for the document. So no need to maintain the records for the Header condition types. Sothat the Header condition types wont have any Access sequences.

Thanks

Hi,

Header condition is applied to whole document that is it applies to all the item lines in the document. So there is no need to give any condition record for that condition type and so it doesn't require any access sequence.

Just for your information, the same thing applies to group conditions also.

Value of group condition is divided amongst all the items and the value of header condition will remain same for all the items.

If the header condition value is 20 and you have 2 line items then the value 20 will be allocated to both the line items but in case of group conditions it will become 10 each.

Siddharth.
