Hi ,
I want to find out in which logon group the user has loged in.
I have two logon groups excluding SPACE which is reserved for SAP.
In transaction SMLG it is just showing what are all logon groups which we have.
Pls help regarding this.
Its urgent req.
HI ,
In SMLG or AL08 we are able to see what are all the logon groups which are assigned to the servers,
but i want to get specifically in which logon group the user has logged in.
Pls help regarding this.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You have 2 logon group. For example
1) server1_ser_00 and server2_ser_00
2) server3_ser_00 and server4_ser_00
Go to SMLG and press F7.
You see the all users which have login into system -->
Find the required user and see the "instance" column if server1_ser_00 or server2_ser_00 --> GROUP1
server3_ser_00 or server4_ser_00 -->GROUP2
If I have correctly understood you certainly. Regards.
Thank you Sergo Beradze for reply.
But i think it is not appropriate.
I will explain you clearly.
For example we have a server/instance name HQSERVER1,
This server will have a default Logon group 'SPACE'.
Now using SMLG we have defined two more logon groups for that server for eg.
SD_USERS_LOGON_GROUP.
MM_USERS_LOGON_GROUP.
We will include these two groups to the users in their
SAP logon pad .
Some users will be assigned with single group and some people with both the groups.
Now i want to find out which logon group was used by the user to get login.
Ok have u understood my requirement.
Help regarding this.
In SMLG you can see what user into what instance are login -->
Go to smlg and press F7. Also you can see in al08, sm51. Regards. Award if helpful.
