Locations in SRM (standalone)

Hi,

Locations in SRM are synonymous with plants in R3. If we work with R3 as a backend, we can use the plants from R3 in SRM as a locations, but what happen in standalone scenario???

How can we create a location directly in SRM if we don´t have plants from R3?????

Is that possible??????

Hi,

Steps :

1- GOTO trascn BBPMAININT

Create location

Assign to srm logical backend, company code and plant

2- GOTO Trascn PPOMA_BBP

Goto extended tab

Select location

Select the srm logical system

select the srm location created in step 1

Hi,

Yes you can create local location for SRM Only. Go to Maintain Business Partner Link and create Business Partner as Location.
