Hi Friends,
We have configured printer in SAP ECC 6.0
We have selected 65rowsX255 columns in the print specifications for a job.
However, the file (printout) is showing a blaank line after 66 rows, might be page break.
Can we remove this blank line??
Thanks & regards,
Kunal Patel.
I think it is page break too.
Maybe you should create larger print format..
cheers,
Vincent

Hi,
I will explain in more detail:
I am facing some problem with printer settings.
Environment:
ECC 5.0
There is a job in SAP which is sending a spool file to mainframe server.
The name of the mainframe server is maintained in the output device and the output device name is mentioned in the print specifications for the SAP job.
Some of the printer settings are as below:
The device type:ZASCIIPR: Some generic ASCII printer
Host spool access method: U:Print using Berkley protocol
Some settiongs in the print specifications for the SAP job are as below:
Time of printing : Printout immediately
Format: X_65_255
Other settings are as default.
Problem:
The file that is received at mainframe (no printout is taken) is having a blank line on the 66th row if the format is X_65_255.
If I change the format to X_90_120, then there is a blnak line on 91st line.
Could anyone let me know how to remove this blank line? i.e. is it possible to override this setting or make the pages as continuous?
Thanks in advance.
Kunal Patel.
