Hello,
I have created a party and have added an identifier. I would like to variablise the "Name" value of this identifiers, which is "hard coded" for the moment.
Is it possible to do it through a value mapping for instance, or by any other mean ?
Many thanks,
Best regards,
GL
For what reason do you want tohave alternativ identifiers?
It depends from the adapter type, how this identifier is used.

Hello,
We are using the seeburger adapter and we are communicating through OFTP.
For one of this party,
the Agency is "ODETTE"
the Scheme is "OFTP"
and the Name is "xxxx<sys_ID>"
Therefore, when we transport from dev to integration and then to prod, the name remains the same, and we have to manualy configure it with the correct sys_ID (each time we transport this Party, because unlike communication channels for instance, it erase the value each time it is transported)
The idea would be to store the name in a variable such as a value mapping in order to set it in every environment only once and then transport the party without configuring it again each time.
Hopping I have been clear enough,
Best regards,
GL
Hi,
Identifiers are used in the following areas of SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
· To identify communication parties
· In value mappings.
· To set a receiver in the proxy runtime
For identifies in party check this:
