not getting Guided Procedure API

Hi Frndz..

As per my requirement i have to make an application which can intract two WDP applications using webservices each other ..

For this am following this PDF

".Integrate two Web Dynpro Applications using CAF Guided Procedures.pdf"

according to this PDF for getting GP API i downloaded

gp_api_nw04s.zip

gp_TopLevelDCs.zip

and applied those ZIP's in the same patha specified, but am not getting

Local Development > CAF> caf/eu/gp/api --> DC MetaData --> Public Parts --> external

with out this i can't procced this app

and am working on EP7.0 JAVA trail version n NWDS7.0.9.

is it requires any additional installations r NWDI

plz do the needfull

Hi rajeshkelam,

To be able to develop Web Dynpro for Guided Procedures, the libraries must be manually copied into the installation. Open the folder “workaround”

Step 1 : Copy the Development Component folder “eu” into the folder <IDE>eclipsepluginscom.sap.tc.ap_2.0.0compCAFDCssap.comcaf on the machine where you installed the NWDS.

Step2 : copy the meta-information

1> sap.com caf eu gp api wd.dcref

2> sap.com caf eu gp api.dcref

into the folder <IDE>eclipsepluginscom.sap.tc.ap_2.0.0compCAFSCssap.comCAF\_compTopLevelDCs

on the machine where you installed the NWDS.

Check Page Number 6 of this document.

Thnak u very much,could u tell from where i get that "workaround" folder and that "eu" these r from sdn.sap.com r service.sap.com

i was unable 2 find this in sdn.sap.com.

i did't fine any path u specified like" SAP Discovery System >

Introductory Exercises > “Download

*NWDS Workaround files”.*

Hi rajeshkelam,

Go through the document steps are given.You have to download the following SCs from http://service.sap.com/swdc

1> sap.com.caf.eu.gp.api.wd.dcref

2> sap.com.caf.eu.gp.api.dcref

You have to paste the SCs into C:\Program Files\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\plugins\com.sap.tc.ap_2.0.0\comp\CAF\SCs\sap.com\CAF\_comp\TopLevelDCs
