Separate Number Range in SD for every year

Hi All,

Can we have separate number range in SD for every year, like we have it for FI documents. Please let me know if there is any possiblities of it.

HI,

Yes, it is possible for FI doc. in std way. But , for sales, delivery or billing doc u have to use user exit where it can see factory calender or u can create Z*table.

Certainly you can have. Its all Management discretion. If you want to maintain new number ranges for order, delivery, and billing, go to VN01 and maintain. Ensure that the same "No" you maintain in the respective document types like VOV8, OVLK etc.

hi,

if u want to maintain SD Billing number ranges for Yearwise, there is no option in standard system.

Do onething maintain Z Table . in that give the fields like year, billing document, number range object key and client.

if u satisfy with this, revert back me.

Hi,

In standard SD it is not possible for sales order numbers to have year wise number range.

Maybe you will have to use a user exit to fulfill this requirement

Try this user exit if it helps USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE in program MV45AFZZ
