Rejected material

My scenario is -

FG is produced and lot is generated (insp type 04),after inspection results are recorded and results are not satisfactory (i.e. material is rejected),it is reworked and then reinspection is required.

how can i map this scenario?

whether i will have to create 2 diffn insp lots?

if material is rejected, where shall i put that material,in blocked stock?

Hi sandip,

As per my knowledge suppose that for inspection lot A you have given the UD as Rework. Then the stock will have to be moved to Blocked.

Then in the new order for the same material you can manually add this blocked material for rework to the correct operation.

Then during the confirmation the yield will be more than expected which will counter effect the cost for the earlier order.

This is mostly done in process industry......
